Adria Arjona compares Star Wars to Marvel’s Morbius experience

Actress Adria Arjona had two major franchises in the same year. She starred opposite Jared Leto and Matt Smith in Morbius earlier this year, which had not one, but two theatrical releases, and is currently showing it on Netflix. Later this week, she will be taking on the role of Bix Caleen in Andorto officially join the Star Wars universe. As it turns out, there are a lot of similarities between the experiences of Marvel projects and Star Wars.

Talk to ComicBook.com before AndorDebuting on Disney+ Wednesday, Arjona opened up about how her experience with the two franchises compares to one another.

“In the world, yes, I think they are completely different. I think they share a lot of the same fans sometimes,” Arjuna explained. “So I know that when I was pushing for Morbius I got all the Star Wars questions and I was like, ‘Let’s talk about MorbiusAnd I feel that even now in these interviews, there are people who are like, ‘Oh, I’ve loved Morbius“.so it feels great, I feel like I’ve been a part of it somehow in the past like two months since then Morbius Because they share fans.”

The actress went on to say that while the two franchises do share a fan base at times, the way people interact and experience Star Wars is different than anything else out there.

“But I think Star Wars, there’s something specific about Star Wars that almost feels like you’re going down in history and I think Marvel definitely felt it bigger, but I think there’s something about Star Wars that kind of upset my stomach,” he said. “I’ve also been a Star Wars fan forever, so. I mean, I think so, but I think when you do this a lot for the fans and I think it’s not even real for the fans to watch.”

Arjuna plays the lead role Andor Along with Deigo Luna, Stellan Skarsgard and Genevieve O’Reilly. The first three episodes are released simultaneously on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 21.
